Offering a 360 degree live/work/play lifestyle, located on a gateway to Leeds, this development consists of 208 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with Concierge entrance, social lounge, resident’s cinema, gym, car parking, landscaped garden entrance and a sky garden roof terrace. 

The scheme has been carefully crafted to create a high quality, contemporary building which harmonises with the surrounding cityscape. The architectural detailing encompasses design features including horizontal copper bandings, box framed glazing, decorative copper metal façade and a glazed corner intersection with floating balconies.

On-going refurbishment and reconfiguration of an existing shopping centre.

A series of proposals for the redevelopment of an existing town centre shopping development. Proposals have so far included the conversion and amalgamation of a retail unit and large vacant retail and warehouse to form new ground and first floor restaurants and a top floor gym. Further proposals include mall refurbishments comprising new shop frontages, cafe seating areas, and improved, modernised interior design.

A new build hotel in Leeds city centre.

A new build hotel that was the flagship for Roomzzz. The design consisted of 36 apartments with 1 and 2 bedroom options.

The development is complete and fully occupied.

The £55 million mixed-use scheme will include new retail, hotel, family pub, cafe space, link road and a comprehensive scheme of hard and soft landscaping.

The proposed architectural solution is the culmination of a three year design process and will deliver an exciting new landmark destination for an area of Rhyl in need of regeneration. The use of materials such as brick, timber and render throughout the scheme offers a unified approach to the phased development, ensuring that the final product reads as a whole rather than a collection of buildings.

Phase 2 is currently under construction and due for completion Summer 2019.

A residential development of 47 apartments above 2 large new retail units

Located in the heart of the world’s first garden city, the site is part of the existing Garden Square Shopping Centre, which is to remain open during construction. A sensitive approach was taken in the design, taking into consideration the surrounding buildings and local vernacular. This was undertaken through close relationships with the Letchworth Heritage Foundation and the local authority. A new lightweight 3rd floor to the existing office building has been added to enable this building to be converted into a brand new, residential accommodation.

Planning permission was granted in 2015.

Having won the competition to redevelop the site of the previous Dock Company warehouses, Browne Smith Baker were commissioned by Modus Properties to redesign a new town centre shopping scheme in Seaham. The development comprises a covered mall, 42,000 square ft supermarket and a 350 space car park.  The scheme also involves the relocation of Seaham Angling Club and Seaham Scouts into two new purpose built sites.
