Private Residence, Darras Hall
The proposal was to create a new 5 bedroom detached private dwelling with detached garage, forecourt parking for up to 4 cars and landscaped gardens.
The site was originally a vacant plot and the proposed dwelling is located at the heart of the site allowing for sufficient privacy distances to the surrounding existing dwellings. The orientation of the dwelling follows the existing pattern of Meadow Court, with the frontage facing west with private driveway and forecourt and gardens to the rear facing east. The overall design and materials chosen were given careful consideration to ensure that the new property is in harmony with the existing dwellings, using traditional cavity wall construction and faced in natural stone.
The building is now complete and occupied.
